My friend called me from Israel. He told me that he's thinking why Filipinos are treated that way. Before boarding the plane heading to Israel (nasa hong kong airport sila), all filipino were separated from all boarding passengers and took their hand-carried bags. They fall in a separate line entering the plane. They only got their personal bags when they are already at the door of the plane. The crew opened and inspected all their personal belongings.

According to him. only filipinos were treated like that on that flight. Others were just carry their bags and board the plane without hazzle.

Well, its not so much as hating being a Filipino compared to racial profiling and discrimination.

We can probably give them a dose of their own medicine by making their nationals take their flights from the old Domestic Airport and giving them a body cavity search before they board any aircraft.

those incidents have to be validated, then Philippine consular attaches should lodge formal complaints to the host countries.

the problem is that our economy is dependent sa OFW's kaya madalas ma-exploit at ma-descriminate ang mga kababayan nating umaalis. mababa kasi ng employment opportunities dito sa bayan natin.

hate being a Filipino? no, it's my God given citizenship and there's a lot of world famous Filipinos e.g. Manny Pacquiao, ...hehehe

don't take it too personal man. resulta nga yun ng mga pinaggagawa ng terorista/asg sa atin eh and as far as the Israelis are concern these terrorists/asg are Pilipinoes as well.

If I was there, I would've asked why. More than likely, they would've given an answer.

That's what your friend should've done. Then, there'd be something more solid to discuss.

Of course i love being a Filipino! And i think you're topic is not related to the problem your discussing... its suppossed to be "Filipinos being hated..." or something like that. Hehe!

Baka mamaya may terrorista na dun or magnanakaw? hehehe!

May problema talaga tayo....Kailangan natin ayusin....Mga simpleng bagay hidni natin maayos.....Kasalanan natin yun....
