Alan Cayetano and Lani Cayetano are both running for congressman and congresswoman in two separate districts. Are they separated? Not living together?

Or just exploiting yet another loophole in our election law? This is disturbing and very unacceptable. It is an obvious exploitation and abuse by those in power cause it is obviously wrong however you look at it.

And it seems the Cayetanos were not the first to do it. The Albano couple were the first? Why doesn't anyone correct this? Philippines has really gone to the dogs.

"Based on the documents, Lani said she lived in Barangay Fort Bonifacio while Alan declared his address in Barangay Bagumbayan."

"Magkaiba," Alan said when confronted with the different addresses.

"Hindi bago yon. It really happens. We live in the same city," he added.

a number of her fellow journalists began blaming her when their access to the president was being taken away. hindi ba at one point pa nga hindi na nag prepresscon si presidente sa malacanang press corp. he wasn't entertaining any questions from them parati na lang through the spokesman. i'm not sure pero hanggang ngayon ata ganyan pa din nga ang siste.

I heard ever since, when duts realized hindi nya kaya ma-manipulate ang media sa palace naging ganun na trato nya sa press corps. Minsan na lang pag na tye tyempuhan at ambush interview siguro. Or kapag gusto nya dumakdak.

^ yezzir. And the persistent ranada always had the most probing questions of them all - even during the height of the president's popularity. As a result, the president began clamming up - much to the consternation of some her fellow journos.

Du30 figured he had trouble BS'ing the Malacanang Press Corp. The journos in Davao were either cowed or conned by him kaya bow lang ng bow.

I wonder when will they start killing each other like in Game of Thrones...

Feuding dynasties, bloody massacres: Game of Thrones season 8 ... or Philippine politics? | This Week In Asia | South China Morning Post

The Estrada family’s octopus-like hold on power illustrates a basic fact of life in the Philippines: the building block of politics is not the party, it is the family. Elections are games of musical chairs where clan members follow an intricate choreographed dance that sees them trade positions, or hand them down to kin. But when members make a grab for the same chair, elbowing each other aside, the dance is thrown into disarray. Two feuds now riveting voters involve famous families, that of Estrada (convicted of plunder then pardoned before he served a single day of the sentence) and former vice-president Jejomar Binay, currently on trial for corruption.

So True! Ang lalakas ng loob tumakbo sa senate. I'm dreaming for a better Philippines and I think this will start in voting for the right person. Sana matauhan rin lahat ng Pilipino na kilatisin munang mabuti ang ihahalal. Sana magawa kahit mahirap. Anyway share ko lang din itong website na ito that covering local government unit - Latest Local Government News in the Philippines | League Online News. Too bad we don't have celebrity death matches for scions of political dynasties. They all wanna die for the country, diba? Let's do them a favor and make it happen!

whoever is responsible for the mokong-ish election policy?
    this is clearly premature campaigning.
