I agree na sarsuela. Otherwise, nasuntok sana yung traffic enforcer.

He may be a good mayor; but, president . . .

i doubt if he'll ever leave his cushy seat in davao city to join the government on a national level. i remember when he was the congressman of his district in d.c. several years back, he basically just waited out his term in mindanao because he was "bored" doing business in the house of representatives where he was just one of the guys.

If your an action man, legislative branch is not the place to be. It's either you'll be local executive as mayor or governor or be the president. Same case with Lim, he was senator for 3 yrs, did not complete his term and moved to be mayor of Manila.

that's why i don't see him leaving for manila anytime soon.

i've lived in davao city for almost nine years and you'll see that his golden rule is: it's my way or the highway. he has no patience for horse trading and he has little to no tolerance for people not in line w/ his views and those are what he is going to get in spades once he runs for the presidency - the very things he despises most

Please give De Lima a break.

You probably don't know this but she is buried in ceiling high papers in her office - that's why it smells like a bookstore. Sobrang daming problema ng Dept of Justice. Lots of corrupt two-faced people she has to deal with. She is a very thorough worker which is why people are now having a hard time selling cases - although that is not to say walang nakakalusot. I bet meron pa rin but greatly minimized na through her efforts. She reads and proofs everything that she signs.

Ang problema kasi ng DOJ, co-terminus ang sec sa president - and one needs far more than six years to fix all the leaks and creaks in the office.

Under it is also a gazillion people and their agencies - with its respective issues. It's a very tough job. I'm sure if she can, LDL would wish there is more to the 24 hours in a day sa sobrang dami na ginagawa nila. They are also severely undermanned due to shortage of qualified applicants. Mababa rin ang sweldo nila so good people are leaving and/or not applying. Starting level dito less than 70k lang, sa Ombudsman, almost 100k na ang starting level.

LDL is probably making just a little over a million per year. It's not really commensurate to the job but it's an honor of course to work for the president of the republic. It's a paltry amount compared to what she can get as an election lawyer.

im on the opinion that this country really needs a tough leader. among the present crops we have, only duterte stands above the rest. he got balls, sabi nga nila. we really need martial law once again to catapult this country towards economic development. i agree with sen. bongbong marcos when he said, our country was way, way ahead in asia during my father's time. we have LRT, SLEX, san juanico bridge and all those infra which wouldnt happen if done now. what im trying to say is, we need a strong leader. not somebody who is walang ka drive-drive man lang, as described by his own father. DUTERTE FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!

I would like to listen toyour statement but what she is showing is the other way around. She like's publicity, she prefer being interviewed rather than focusing on the job. Hindi nya issue, she is on top of it for media mileage. I don't pity her, not a single cent. She is a attention getter and i am sure she has her own fcuking agenda. She was pushout in 2013 but surely she will be in 2016.
God save this country with people like her. Pangit na, epal pa.

Your right, i saw that he mentioned it in the news. Whether he runs or not, at least he got a straight forward solution. Others are all lips service & empty promises. Yes, this country needs martial law if only make it's citizen that there is a law to be applied. Abolish Congress & Senate, sobra dami na ng batas ang kailangan is implementation. The legislature has not done anything significant except dipping their hands of PDAF and changing street names. Total waste of peoples money.
