Especially when you consider that there are at least three of them -- husband, wife and daughter -- to spend for hotel, air fare, entertainment, shopping, and food. What more if you have yayas, bodyguards, amigas, blue ladies, assorted relatives, etc. tagging along? And you multiply that expense every weekend, perhaps, or whatever frequency in a year, and how much does that deduct to our beloved president's "simple" monthly or annual budget? Can a simple man really afford to spend on such "luxuries" in such frequency? Ehem, I beg to disagree, sir, for our president is a simple man proud of his simple living, simple house, simple mind even.

I always bemoan this one relative of ours who always say they don't have money -- to pay for debts -- yet have all the money to go out of the country 2x or 3x a year, good for 4 people. What hypocrites, they are, I feel.
"simple living" is always relative, sir.

Are you claiming that there are no absolutes in life, sir, except relativity? So we're all obeying some life and/or moral code that has no value at all because everything is relative anyway. Hmmm.

Actually tama si mini. Digong is a man of action - so ang action nya na parang psychopath, manyakis at bully says it all.

Truth come stress-free. :D

How many simple people hie off to HK for the weekend to celebrate their birthdays, I wonder? We should all be as lucky to be such simple in life.

"MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte is currently in Hong Kong to celebrate the birthday of his common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña.

    Avanceña turned 49 on Sunday."

    Mawalang galang na doc;

Ang naalala ko sa "simple living" ay, when his propagandist are trying to portrait lord digong saying, napakasimple ni mayor showing the picture kumakain lang sa pondahan kumakain ng mongo, maruya, ek ek, nakakulambo natutulog...

I don't know if the quotation of Abe Lincoln applies to us "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time".

At si presdu eh simple naman talaga pero in life there are times you need to pamper yourself. But sana kung sa city of monaco pumunta.

Its all pang pelikula ginawa ni kurap.

"fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

Interesting read from a disillusioned admin admirer Boo Chanco:

Ang titigas ng ulo. Mas madali daw yung ODA at GAA. Hindi pala!

... “Lack of skilled workers??? Didn’t they say Build Build Build is an opportunity to bring back Pinoy skilled workers who have gone to work on similar infrastructure projects in the Middle East and elsewhere??

“Actually, it is the lack of technical expertise overwhelming the implementing agencies that must deal with the technical requirements to design, review and operationalize these projects... In other words, ‘nangangapa’...
