Not that hard if all papers are in order. You can ask help from car importers for the paper works kasi when i inquired about grey market EV and LTO registration sabi sa akin madali daw.

Dapat lang malaki pagbaba pricing ng Made in Korea cars.
The reason daw why Tucson, Santa Fe crossovers were pricy and is closer to Jap SUV prices were due to made in Korea daw tong models na to.
While the Jap SUVs were enjoying the ASEAN Free trade since most of them were sourced from Thailand.
Can attest also the build quality of these Made in Korea units.

Yung Stargazer, hindi ata Korea ang pinanggalingan nila so pricing for these models won't be affected.

I believe cars like the Sonet are from China.

IMO, kahit hindi nila ibaba yung price, as long as gawin nilang competitive yung features ng vehicles nila.

no choice sila (noon) because of the local taxes.

May nabasa din akong article noon (not sure if na-post ko dito) na comparing BMW to Lexus - kaya ng Lexus mag-offer ng better equipment bec lower ang taxes ng cars from Japan compared to cars from Europe.

But most car distributors here are greedy they won’t pass the whole tariff discount to consumers.

Buti pa ang Tesla, I think same pricing tayo with US?
