    new survey results from Publicus

BBM up 5% since Feb, VP Leni static in 2nd place

Support for the presidential bid of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. appears to have grown modestly during the official campaign period while support for Vice President Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo’s campaign remains static, according to the latest pre-election survey conducted by PUBLiCUS between April 19-21, 2022.

57% of the 1,500 registered Filipino voters who participated in the PAHAYAG National Tracker: April Survey chose Marcos as their presidential bet.

“Marcos is the only presidential candidate who has notched a statistically significant increase in voter preference during the campaign period. He has gained 5 percent over the past two months after notching an initial preference share of 52% on our February survey,” said Mr. Aureli Sinsuat, Executive Director of PUBLiCUS, on the April 25 episode of the PAHAYAG Election Report.

In contrast, Sinsuat noted that Robredo’s presidential preference numbers have consistently hovered between 20 to 23% on the six pre-election surveys conducted by PUBLiCUS between October 2021 and the third week of April 2022. 21% said they would vote for Robredo on the latest survey.

“Based on our numbers, Marcos now leads Robredo by 36% moving into the final two weeks of the campaign period,” Sinsuat added. -excerpt

Sinisiil daw ang freedom of speech. He should ask his ward about what freedom of speech was like during his father's reign. Pretty sure he has some wonderful stories to tell.

According to FB/Meta, they suspended the account because they were not sure if it was a legitimate account, and earlier before the suspension, Rodriguez said he has no socmed account. Now that the account was suspended, the BBM camp is crying suppression of free speech. Well I guess its pretty normal for them to lie.

Three factors that explain BBM's lead | The Manila Times

First, Filipinos have never really believed the Big Lie propagated by the Yellows and the US Deep State for more than three decades — using three administrations' government and media machinery — that Marcos was the Devil incarnate and his regime a Dark Age.
The second big reason for Marcos' likely victory involves Filipinos' overwhelming support for President Duterte and their belief in the unqualified success of his administration.
This is the third big factor for BBM's lead: his personality itself, which many think make him an ideal president: articulate, knowledgeable, intelligent and experienced in government. If BBM for instance was as arrogant as Isko Moreno, or as inarticulate in English as Pacquiao, as vacuous and inexperienced as Robredo, it would have been a steep uphill climb to the presidency, even with the two political titans pushing him up.

Rigoberto Tiglao is an example of how mainstream media is used for propaganda.

My guess is this question puts their backs against the wall and their ego wont allow them to make mistakes...

I understand hating on Aquinos/LP/Yellows. I also did hate them. But hating them doesnt mean you have to bring back the ones they helped to remove, the Marcoses.

So any reason kung bakit si BBM. I just can't accept yun dahil galit sa dilawan.

Kung yun ang reason then you're a selfish prick that willing to see the country burn in hell dahil galit daw sa dilawan.

Kung galit sa dilawan ang dahilan then bakit sila galit sa dilawan.

Let me state here what I heard/read from socmed why they chosen (surveys portraying that voting population has decided before the election) the frontrunner.

-for 36 years mainstream media and books are all against Marcos, undesirable (some said evil) deeds of Marcos, some were facts by the way
-socmed came, people/vloggers/probinsiyano's were talking about the other side/untold side (good projects, good deeds) of Marcos
-they said that Cory admin/LP didn't handle the Philippines in good way when they had the chance (36 years), they believe that Cory's admin is an angry admin that the long-term effect to us wasn't really good for the Philippines. LP didn't continue the projects of her predecessor, instead stop (BNPP for example) these projects, worst is they sold/gave to private entities, these are basic needs (electricity, water, etc).

Now, all facts/fakes pro or against Marcos & also to Cory/LP were revealed, they said that counting the pluses & minuses, they concluded that Marcos was better than Cory/LP.

No matter how we explain here or to the people outside, it doesn't help anymore at this moment. Let us just pray that whoever the people vote, will be counted honestly & officially.

I'm not convincing anyone here either, I'm just posting what I saw outside this forum.
