I would venture to say that he had a bigger impact in actual votes for Trump versus Elon Musk. He is also quite big in the evangelical Christian world, which includes the Philippines (it's very likely you have seen your Christian socmed friends post their condolences) and South Korea.

His calm and eloquent debate style has won the hearts of many young conservatives in the US, including even those on the Libertarian side. He set up Turning Point USA when he was 18. This foundation is one of the largest conservative nonprofit orgs in the US whose objective is to bring conservative advocacies into the US educational system.


HOWEVER, he has made statements against the LGBT community, against DEI, against Islam, against gun control, and has shown aversion to COVID-19 health mandates like masks. He is anti-DEI, anti same-*** marriage, called the Ukraine-Russian war a "border dispute", is staunchly pro-Israel, called white privilege "a myth", and even condemned the landmark US Civil Rights Act.

I remember posting a few years ago about the cancel culture tactics employed by leftists which were endorsed by the corporate media who in turn did selective censorship. Now? Right-wing extremist violence has been deadlier than left-wing violence in recent years.

Based on government and independent analyses, right-wing extremist violence has been responsible for the overwhelming majority of fatalities, amounting to approximately 75% to 80% of U.S. domestic terrorism deaths since 2001.

Illustrative cases include the 2015 Charleston church shooting, when white supremacist Dylann Roof killed nine Black parishioners; the 2018 Tree of Life synagogue attack in Pittsburgh, where 11 worshippers were murdered; the 2019 El Paso Walmart massacre, in which an anti-immigrant gunman killed 23 people. The 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, an earlier but still notable example, killed 168 in the deadliest domestic terrorist attack in U.S. history.

By contrast, left-wing extremist incidents, including those tied to anarchist or environmental movements, have made up about 10& to 15% of incidents and less than 5% of fatalities.

Examples include the Animal Liberation Front and Earth Liberation Front arson and vandalism campaigns in the 1990s and 2000s, which were more likely to target property rather than people.

The man charged with planting pipe bombs outside Republican and Democratic national party headquarters before the Jan. 6 Capitol riots told the FBI he supported Donald Trump and believed Trump won the 2020 election, according to two people familiar with his interview.

Brian Cole Jr., 30, who was arrested Thursday at his family home in a Northern Virginia exurb of Washington and criminally charged, confessed to the FBI that he planted the bombs near the Capitol on Jan. 5, 2021, according to two sources familiar with Cole’s interview who requested anonymity to speak about a sensitive ongoing investigation.

Investigators also found social media posts in which the suspect appeared to express anarchist leanings, complicating their efforts to determine a clear motive, the sources said. But they found no evidence that he colluded with militant organizations or with any Trump supporters who organized the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the sources said.
