I really don't get the idea of opening all those restos beside a main road. Besides ano ginagawa ng Harbour Plaza, and the likes inside CCP complex. For me what Mayor Lim did in Baywalk and Avenida was in the best interest of the majority.

Di pa ako nakakaabot ng Ermita eh. Sorry...
Parang ganto rin yan eh, lahat ng malls nasa tabi rin ng main road. The key to better traffic flow is having an effective traffic scheme.

The problem with the establishments along Roxas is walang ample parking space to accomodate all the customers, unlike malls where they have a large parking lot &/or multi-level parking buildings.

Yung mga one-way street dito sa Sta Cruz binalik sa dating pre-Atienza scheme...S.Padilla (Gandara) St. is two-way again, T. Pinpin is one-way from Ongpin to S. Padilla and Nueva is one-way from S.Padilla to Ongpin.

Manila is now a dark and boring city. Nasan na yung mga lamppost? No tourist no money. Hehehe.

Regarding the Baywalk, one recent news report said that the Manila city government plans to build the Manila Ocean Park on it, complete with an oceanarium, giant indoor viewing aquariums and a dolphin feeding area.
They plan to open it by December 15 of this year.Last edited by Bogeyman; August 30th, 2007 at 10:39 AM.
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
