    Fellow Tsikoteers...

Anti Gun Movement proposed that a total Gun Ban is the solution to the incresing gun related crimes and must be implemented...

Under this proposal, a civilian will be prohibited to carry his/her firearms outside residence since it is the duty and responsibilty of the PNP to conduct peace and order as well as to look after the safety of the civilian againts criminal element in public places...

IMO its not fair that you cant protect yourself outside your home.

edit: its the duty of the PNP? e hindi nga makahabol yung mga yan dahil sa naglalakihang tiyan eh. i dont trust PNP. in fact kung may nakikita ako PNP natatakot ako kasi baka manghingi ng lagay.

IMO they cant do their job right. yung sa luneta na lang, kahit daming media, mali mali, paano pa kung walang nakabantay.

nope, our cops are to slow and to dumb to help our citizens. also minsan sila pa ang criminal, and sa mga criminal walang gun ban. just look at the cases that involve guns, all of them walang license and ptc so what's the point of gun ban. it'll only make the law abiding citizens defenseless and the criminals happy. the pnp is a joke pag nag responde ang mga yan madalas soco na lang ang ginagawa nila dahil pag dumating sila late na, patay na ang victim at naka takas na ang criminal. tapos hingan ka pa ng pera bago nila habulin ang criminal. what we need is more check points and more police patroling our neighborhood eh nag kaka check point lang pag gun ban tapos yung mga patrol car ginagawang tulugan ng mga police pag gabi at palamigan pag umaga.

kaya ngayon kahit gun ban dala ko parin ang baril ko, mas mabuti na ma kulong ako kesa ma patay ako. i don't carry a gun because i hate the government, i carry a gun because i know the limitations of our government nor do i car a gun to make me feel like i'm a man, i carry a gun because a i know how to take care of my self and my love ones.

Dapat daw iasa sa PNP dahil trabaho daw nila yon...A big Joke...

they should get fired for not doing their job.

does jason ivler have license and ptc? if meron, isolated case parin yon, look at the stats na lang of incidents involving guns. if may license and ptc si ivler siya ang first case involving a gun na may ptc and license. 99.99% parin walang ptc and license ang criminal.

    AGREE AKO!

    KUNG totoong TOTAL gun ban.

The operative word is TOTAL. As in lahat tayo bawal magbitbit or mag may-ari ng baril.

Civilian & Police/Army/Gov't/ Etc. pare-pareho tayong lahat walang baril.

    PWEH.

Some of the Anti Gun Movement comments that they feel intimidated if they see some civilian carrying their FA outside residence and they feel unsafe because there's a chance that this responsible owner may snap and used his/her FA to shoot anyone...

    Any comment...hehehe...

Yung mamang pulis tao. Yung sundalo tao. Yung politko tao. Yung presidente ng Pilipinas tao. Meaning, lahat tayo puwede mag-"snap" because of stress. So bakit yung ibang TAO (sundalo, pulis, security guard, body guard, etc.) lang puwede magdala ng baril, kung puwede din silang mag-"snap" dahil they are humans too like you and I, di ba? Get my point?

Palitan ko lang ang sinabi ng isang mayor: GUN for all, or NO GUNS at all. Dapat ganun.

Big No! A gunless society is a dream that will never flourish. By the defention of the word crminal, its someone who breaks or does not fllow the law. Therefore, it is not reasonable to expect a criminal to disarm himself bec there is a gun ban. However, a law abiding citizen will effectively become defenseless by following the law.

Dont even think that the police will be able to protect you. The PNP is undermanned, underfunded and ill equipped to deal with all the cases they have. Most of them dont have enough firearms training. Just read the newspapers, when there is a shootout involving cops, chances are a bystander will be hit.

As for security guards, I used to shoot in a range where they qualify with FAs. They shoot about 6 rounds or .38 and 2 rounds of birdshot from a shotgun. Most of them dont even know the 4 basic rules of gun safety. I see guards with very poor muzzle control. They keep pointing their shotguns all over the place. I have been sweeped by the barrel on more than one occasion. I also noticed that some guards foolishly cover the barrel with their hands or rest it on their feet. Great way to loose a body part if you get a negligent discharge.

As someone posted earlier, almost all fire arms related crimes are done with unregistered guns owned by criminals. They are the problem, not the law abiding citizen who obey the law and whose gun/s are already registered with the PNP.

Do you guys think if there is a total gun ban, will the bad guys follow that law?

If you commit a crime would you use a legally registered firearm that you own?

it's only not allowed when you're in public places, pero if you're inside your car or at home you can still use IWB holsters. what i do is put my extra magazines on my mag holstered on my belt then my gun on a bag but i still have a IWB holster on my belt. so when i get in my car or at the office i put my gun on my IWB.
