looks like history is repeating itself. chiz's father was a loyal lieutenant of marcos sr and was also a part of the fm cabinet being the minister of food and agriculture during the latter part of the 1st marcosian era. i guess loyalty to the marcos' run deep w/in the family and is paying off.

come to think of it, heart Evangelista-escudero is now just a rung lower from being the 1st lady of the republic. may shades of imeldific din iyan eh hehe

how come it won, despite the alleged black mark against it?
i mean, its winning the contract wasn't kept secret; in fact, it was publicized.
how come the price has bloated over the years? is covid involved?

Maybe inflation + Corruption? Isn't it why biddings are made in the first place? To remove issues like this.

Nancy Binay was quoted as saying Chiz Escudero should have talked to her instead of believing rumors. So maybe she can explain. Can't help but think about the Hillmarc-Binay connection.
