ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, September 22 (PIA) –After his visit during the aftermath of Typhoon ‘Luis’ recently, Vice President Jejomar Binay returned to his home province last weekend to distribute housing units for homeless Isabelinos and its nearby provinces.
Binay, through the National Housing Authority (NHA), has awarded 355 housing units to San Mateo and Santiago City, both in Isabela province.
In a simple ceremony held at the capitol amphitheater here, he vowed to relocate atleast 7,000 informal settlers in Isabela and committed to continue providing housing projects in Cagayan Valley region.
He also bared his other housing projects at Camp Melchor Dela Cruz, 5th Army Division in Gamu, Isabela and in Kalinga province.
Binay also lauded the bravery of the 41st Infantry battalion soldiers who were earlier awarded with medals last week by Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Gregorio Catapang for overrunning a New People's Army encampment in Lacub, Abra.

Korek ka dyan sir kaya lang our justice system is damn to slow. Complaint filed already at the Ombudsman but before the Ombudsman can act on it and file a case, surely middle of next year na. Look at the PDAF scam, it took a year before a case has been filed. Then yung mga 2nd & 3rd sets of corrupt legislators sabit sa PDAF, nakatulugan na. Iba pa rin yung may kaibigan at kapartido, nakakatulugan :nite:
