TDi? di ba turbo direct inject? direct injection diesel engine with turbo booster? yun ang alam ko but am not sure. first time na na-encounter ko yang acronym na yan e sa VW jetta ata yon -- when they raced a TDi powered jetta or some other VW car against gas engines.

"i" is common shorthand for electronic fuel injection if i'm not mistaken... hindi yata intercooled ibig sabih nun. i think TDi stands for fuel-injected turbodiesel VW uses TDi for some of their turboed models that are not intercooled
