For my Isuzu Crosswind XT, 120kph. And for my Adventure GL 100kph .![]()
I think this is the top speed of innova d4d na... ganyan din naaabot ko sa innova ko e pero sobrang ingay na ng engine nakakainis. Sa carens ko naman natry ko na 210 may ibubuga pa... as for my tucson nakaabot pa lang ako ng 160kph hindi ko pa pinalalagpas dun nlex pa lang kasi e pag nag sctex ako try ko 200 din.
Fastest I've been in our personal cars:
>Mitsubishi Space Gear GLX 2.5 Turbo-D(Local) M/T - 178kmh*3100rpm *This is far the quickest among the diesel cars to attain 100km/h even quicker than my friends Innova but has an overwhelming Turbo Lag(about 2-3secs) when you're not in the right gear at the right time
>97 Mazda B2500D 2.5 N/A 4x2 M/T - 148kmh*3,100Rpm *Same engine with the Ranger XLT N/A pero it's more fuel efficient to as to what i've noticed
>95 Nissan Eagle 2.5 N/A 4x2 M/T - 138kmh*3000rpm
>02 Nissan Frontier Elite 2.7 M/T - 157kmh*3000rpm
>01 Ford Ranger XLT N/A 2.5 M/T- 152kmh*3,000rpm *ran out of road space. soon ko lang naisip na itest ung car while travelling that time.I also have to say, it has a nice intake to the air filter, resembles somewhat of a Short Ram Intake
>03 Ford Ranger XLT Trekker 2.5 TDIC M/T - 175kmh*2,700rpm
>04 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 M/T - 171kmh*2,700rpm *mas magaan kasi ung Trekker
So far yan palang yung mga Diesel Cars namin na-try kong i-top.
***Did everything on Batangas StarToll. Did it on the even surface.
oops! i forgot to add!
>07 Toyota Fortuner 3.0V 124kmh - di ko sinagad pero ang bilis niyang kunin. i tried it in coastal road, with 8 of us on board.
178km/h on a Space Gear with the 4D56 non-intercooled turbo engine and only at 3100rpm? I'm sure even the CRDi version used in the Strada/Montero Sport will have a hard time attaining that speed. I really can't imagine that happening! Are you sure the speedometer is calibrated properly? Or is that Space Gear somewhat modified?
195kph - all stock Toyota Fortuner 3.0 D4d * skyway sayang ndi ko na natuloy kasi end of the road na

end of the road na sayang d ko natry mag 200+ =)
my friends 2.5 monty at sctex....

170 kph sa Star Tollway. Pero Mabilis lang. Mga 5 seconds lang. Pagka overtake ko sa bus, balik na sa 130kph.
Apat na adults at 2 bata (including me).
Honda Jazz 2005. CVT.
Well it is stock, we only removed the third row seats and the speedometer is operating properly. With 47+++Kms on the car and well maintained, it did and it can. That's what it really attained and it happened. I'm not that sure though with the RPM's, i barely remember exactly which rpm was the engine running, i think it's between, 3,100-3,800RPM's.
Before we traveled and tried it's top speed, 2 days before, we had it Calibrated, Cleaned the Turbo(they removed the carbon deposits in the Turbo) in a casa, had the fluids changed and changed the Filters. Trust me, it did. once it had a its momentum, it will rocket..
Last time I posted here using 3.2 Strada SCTEX was at 190kph (Jan. 3, '10)
Last May same vehicle SCTEX 200kph....pero tinigil ko na, lagpas ulo na 8-log ko.at malayo pa La Paz exit.
Di ko na uulitin yun
Well if it just had its maintenance... I've never imagined that car going over 150-160, unless you had Unichip installed. Did you? Comparably, a stock 2.5D4D Innova would top out at more or less 170km/h. But then, cleaning the turbo and changing the filters really do wonders to a car's performance as I have experienced with our Trooper. But I think if it really reached 178, it would already be somewhere past 4000rpm, near or already at its 4200rpm redline. On a side note, never went past 140 on the Trooper on provincial trips, since that is the highest speed our companion's 2000 Starex (loaded with people, luggage on the roof) could reach.![]()
A stock 2.5 D4D Innova can do 190 in perfect conditions. All IMV models are electronically limited to that speed. 170 can be reached relatively quickly, but you'd need a very long stretch to reach 190.
With 5 passengers and luggage, our D4D Innova did 180 once.
Does your Innova happen to be a manual? But even so, isn't 190 in the domain of the 3.0 engines already?
Nope, it was an automatic. And any IMV can do 190 in perfect conditions, but the 3.0 will definitely reach it quicker. The IMV platform using the 2.0 and 2.7 VVT-i engines are even quicker.
By the way, Nice ride bro!hmm. i don't really know. Maybe the environment was cooperating with the car too. I did this at around 4am in the morning and the outside temperature was cool, really cool.
One thing i've noticed about Non-Intercooled turbo's are it's ability to reach higher boost pressures and to Maintain that boost pressure in exchange for Turbo Lag. Maybe this is also another reason.
The engine maybe running at higher RPM's than to what i've mentioned. I don't remember exactly which RPM was it running because that time my adrenaline rush was at notch. But i won't forget that it topped at 178Kmh. :D
Drive safe.![]()
