    Sir Art, the 5-inline cylinder 3.2 Ranger consumes "daw" 7.3 km per litre in combined city, highway, and 4x4 offroad according to the 2013 Carguide Australia.

    That is 13.7 litres/100 km in Aussie convention, as tested.

    I just drove my 3.2 mazda bt50 in combined light, moderate to heavy traffic in visayas ave-circle-quezon ave-espana-quezon blvd-roxas blvd-cavitex-emilio aguinaldo hiway-malagasang and back yesterday, trip computer indicated 11.1 L/100km or 9km/L. Not bad for a truck.

    Last week, at nlex-sctex i got 7.9L/100km or 12.6km/L going north but going south was lower. I am going to zambales again today and check again.

    Rule of thumb or industry standard is a ratio of 1 km/liter ( loaded with cargo ) and 2 km/liter when empty

    Isuzu 10 wheeler Dump truck with standard V-10 ( 330-360 hp depending on the year model )
