sigurado agree kayo sa akin mga diesel peeps to swap from speed to power.

so what do you think guys speed or power?

dad ko does 150km/h in his field master(tonka look 2.5L)... easily... heheh... not so much arangkada but recta is not bad considering it has a small engine for its body...

btw my dad use to have a boxtype (turbo na...w/o intercooler pajero) he does 140kph... w/ no problems at all...

btw... at those speeds... ndi pa ganon ka hirap engine...

iba talaga ang pakiramdam kapag malaki dala mo sa hi-way bale wala lang ang 130km/hr. next time siguro i can increase na may speed going to San Fernando, LA.

You can work on the 4D56 a bit to increase the or even add a intercooler. You'll appreciate the "go anywhere" capabilities of a 4x4, especially pag tag-ulan.

You can add relays and 90/100w headlights to increase the light power a bit... recommended especially if you tint your fronts or do a lot of night driving on the highways. If you tint din the front, the 3M Magic type na tints work better on balancing heat/glare reduction but keeping visibility OK.

even more speed + power = LC100

FYI, yung Land Cruiser ng Autoplus, (not sure what model, basta yung turbo na straight six turbo diesel of the previous body), tumatakbo ng 15's ata sa quarter mile. 200++ wheel HP tapos 350 lbs/ft of torque. Kayang kaya lightly modded SiR before it runs out of gearing. :D

Yun yung power and speed with go anywhere capability. Naka 20's na mags pa. Pero di ko type yung mags eh.

You can however get more power out of your 4D5* by increasing boost. Pajero Kid and I discussed this before sa old kotse.com board. Previusly mentioned, a Pajero makes about 85 wheel HP as tested by Autplus Dynojet rollers. After tuning in Autoplus, it made 105 wheel HP.

You need speed and power? Try the TROOPER. It got both.

If i have cash i'll go talaga for LC80 . I just visited buyandselph.com talagang mataas ang resale value ng mga LC.

Invitro25, I respect the previous model of Trooper pero mahal pa din yun para pang off-road lang.

That's the LC80. In stock form, the dang thing just runs out of gears at 5th when your doing 160+... It also gives the 1600 cars a good scare

Anyone knows how much an LC80 TD would cost then? Even a beat-up old hulk. I'd like to restore one and use it every day.

Yes nananaginip ako, wala ako pera now but I would like to have one for daily use.

We had the 4.5 liter Dubai gas version and it cornered a bit too well for a hulking SUV. Sayang binenta pa namin yun.

ballpark price is around 900k to 1.2k, from searching the classifieds on buyandsellph.com.

considering how solid these things are, a subic import might be acceptable, just make sure to have the work on the conversion checked and double checked. purchase of a surplus dash/interior trim shouldn't be too expensive, and the japanese luxury models will tend to have a lot more features than the ones sold here.
