October 13th, 2004 07:33 AM #14The Hyundai 2.5L CRDi engine is derived from the Mitsubishi 4d56.
The old V6 used by Hyundai in its Galloper is based on the Mitsubishi 6g72.
Newer engines however, are of Hyundai's own design.
