    WWW.BIGBALLS.COM.AU has a diff gear set for patrol gq/gu. there are 2 models to choose from 4.6 for tyres 33-35 and 4.8 for tyres 35-38. if i were to use 4.8 and my tyres are 315/75 x16 on 16x8 magwheels, will my hi-speed will be relatively slower? or should i use the 4.6 so my hi-speeed will not suffer? pls advse guys : )

    i would go for 4.88 since the stock 4.11 on stock tires, the maximum speed of 4th gear and 5th gear is almost the same.

    Weight and aerodynamics are also factors which can affect both top speed and accelerations. You regear to maintain drivability. But keep in mind that a taller truck has worse aerodaynamics than stock and that bigger tires weigh more than the stock ones.
