    mdpo,
pinaka ok sa market ay yung Rancho RS9000 dahil may manual adjustment
    1-2 ok for on road
    3-middle
4-5 off road or loading people and stuffs
also you can get the in cab controller para ma control mo without getting under your ride kaso pero a little bit pricey
meron din self adjusting shocks like bilstein, old man emu, etc etc

eto po ang review ko sa rs5000

first impression is my ride is kinda stiff but not hard/harsh, stable siya lalo na kapag high speed , medyo mas control mo handling.

yesterday i had a chance to put in a test when travel to manila via bumpy north luzon expressway he..he with my critic mother and equally critic wife at the back seat he..he.

surprise surprise all i hear was praises from my rancho 5's, nakatulog pa anak ko sa likod eh he..he, not car like ride pero worlds apart from oem shocks

(take note also i did not put a sack of buhangin on the bed nor i air down my tires, im riding with 35psi on 255/70/R15, just to make my ride softer)

now im waiting for my front shocks to give in

review on off road coming soon

mdpo::: I have replaced my shocks on Starex van with RS5000. Some may have the opinion that its too much for city driving. But I find it more comfortable to ride with it. Not too bumpy or harsh on pot holes.

I bought it near the domestic airport last year for 14K. :D

The official Rancho distributor is Monroe Mktg co in Sta Cruz Manila- since Rancho is owned by Monroe. Saw their display in the last transhow for both Monroe and Rancho.

    Redhorse,

Is your trooper a UBS73 or UBR73(4x2)? What was the Rancho part no of the RS9000 model you got? Was it rancho RS99214?

A friend bought the RS5000 for P3150 each last week, for his trooper UBS73(4x4).

Pls give us a review based on the different settings. Thanks.

    mdpo & jackaroo:

sa sobrang excitement, maaga akong nagising, around 4:00 AM, and immediately went to work on the shocks.

The part number is RS99214 at P5980 ea. I could not believe it, perfect swak talaga sa trooper, unlike sa trailmaster, where the installer have to cut some parts, (its d tube na i-insert sa rubber bushing sa lower part). So no hassle yong aking DIY project. At least justified na ang pagbili ko ng mga wrenches, sockets, jacks and stands. One thing I missed, a flashlight in good working condition.

Finished the job at around 6:00 AM.

Tips. Mabigat mag jack sa right front side ng trooper. Good thing, may GI pipe na nakatabi, nagamit ko to have a better leverage.

Ride comfort is the same. The unit itself is heavier than the old one.

what you mean the same? walang pinagiba yung ride/comfort as compared to OEM?

    thanks
