    it wont work on a gas tachometer , iba kc yung pulse , ang W terminal is for diesel tachs lang tsaka di cya ganon ka accurate pag sa alternator W terminal . get the OEM ng 2800 td na pajero un lang po masusuggest ko sir

    this is the pic of the injection pump as shown with yellow pointers the wiring where you can tap the tachometer, isa wiring na yan which sticks out sa gilid ng injection pump , it gave me most accurate reading. sensya di ko madescribe ung color ng wire kasi im not in manila eh pero 2 lang naman yan eh 1 has the signal needed :D

    yun parin ang oem alternator ko hindi pako nag papalit ng higher amp.
    what do you mean stable?
    you mean stable bigla sya nag zero during rev or acceleration?
    so far hindi sya nag kaganon.
    pero theres something bothers me, yung ibang tach meron ceremony once you turn on the ignition switch, yung dsl tach moba meron?
    coz akin wala eh just a single flash*shift light..

    mga bro i was able to use the normal gas tach for diesel engines,by modifying the tach itself
    to accept signal from the ip. nag ADD lang ako ng diode and 2pc of capacitor and nilipat ko yun
    green wire sa diode na nilagay ko. yungtach na gamitko yung autogauge din,
    post ko details pag available na,kasi for now i want to consolidate my project's data to the
    one available sa market,so pls help me guys here, btw my engine is 4d56NA and i used the
    magnetic pickup sensor on my ip

    1.my tach reads less than or equal 4000rpm b4 i shift gears, is this reading fair enough?

    2.my idle rpm is less than 1000.

    3.on the expressway *80kph my tach reads 3700 more or less, *1000 kph 4000rpm * 120kph itreas
    4100 to 4200rpm

    question, does the reading match the reading on diesel tachs installed on yoour ride?

    i need your data so that i can calibrate my project to what and how atrue diesel tach reads rpm

    i think so kasi parepareho lang naman ang circuit ng tach regarding sa input nya(for gas tach) . dont worry i will post it how to. what i need now is yung comparison sa diesel tach kung pareho ba yung reading ko sa mga aftermarket tachs designed for diesel. kasi kailangan ko pa i calibrate.. yung aking gas tach cguro around 700 pesos lang plus yung pyesa na nilagay ko 20 pesos around 720 lahat lahat. marami ksi avail na gas tach compared sa diesel. wait ko lang reply nina lowriderz77 at teamsicnarf for my comparison.thanks

    Formerly gas kasi yung pajero ko, pinalitan ko ng diesel.. di mapagana yung tachometer.

    so far mukhang accurate naman, cge dont worry i will post it nalang pag umuwi ako sa pampanga.. maybe kailangan ko pa ng data so that ma calibrate ko pa yung tach.

    ahh ic sabi na pwede talaga rin yung sa alternator basta orig pa, kasi yung sakin dati nagpagawa din ako ng W terminal kaso yung alternator ko eh pinalitan ko na ng higher capacity so i got inaccurate readings.

    by flag ceremony what do u mean? yung aangat muna yung rpm before mag stable sa normal ? , mine is same as yours di ba sir ganon rin yung sakin iilaw lang pag nareach nya yung rpm na sinet ko.

    so what i did is:
    1. i got an ordinary gas tach (bigay nga lang eh) and specific brand is auto gauge. 3 inch siguro ang size nya. baka katulad yung binili ni lowriderz77 nung unamga 6-700pesos
    2 bumili akong 1 signal diode,i cant remember the part number.pero pag sinabi mo na signal diode sa electronic shops like alexan alam na nila yun. then 2pc ceramic capacitor , .001 and .01 micro farad,pag ung label nun sa mismong parts ay nakamark ang 103 at 104.
    3 tranfer the green wire dun sa location sa pics ko.then yung capacitors ay na parallel conection and place it also sa location sa pics yung diode din..
    4 yung sa injectionpump naman, (magnetic pickup sensor) yung black wire i tapnyo cya sa ground yung isang natitirang wire yun na yung sa green wire ng tach.
    on how i come up with this.?
    first i tried it with my scooter. which has also magnetic pickup sensor para sa ignition nya(CDI) nakakakuha ako ng .7v peak to peak pag naka idle pag ni rev mo nman mga 2-3v peak to peak or ACvoltage then i compared it sa IP ko na sensor almost the same ng readings ko,pag idle mga .7v and pag rev mga 2v. then tried the tach itself dun sa scoot and gumana cya. i tap the green wire sa ignition coil. pero nag loloko yung reading(i thought kasi single cyl lang yung scoot)pero i tried to check kung ano yung signal na ina accept ng tach. so i found out na much greater yung voltage na inaacept ng gas tach, i tried to tap it sa charging coil ng magneto ng scoot ko,ayun smooth ang reading,so i check the voltage produce on the charging coil and ang readings, idle 70v pag rev nman umaabot sa 110v AC,(considering na hi rev ang mga scoot particular yung mga yamaha jog )so what i did is to trace where in the tach yung points na will accept yung range ng .7 to 2v lang na kayang i produce ng sensor ng IP. kaya na bypass yung diodes and some components ng tach. kasi yun yung nag lilimit ng voltage from 70plus to a very low voltage of .7 to 2v.\
    yung sa mga naka gas engine before na want to use yung orig gas tach nila pede nyo to i follow kaso kailangan lang i trace kung saan yung naglilimit sa signal.pag yun nabypass it will surely work.
    the thing is yung gas tach accepts 12v to 110v of peak to peak samantala ang IP ng diesel engine eh .7 to 2v peak to peak kaya for sure ditalaga gagalaw ang un bypassed tach.
