    Hi diesel ppl,

Just a registered NuB po. I have a '92 hyundai grace van. Napansin ko kasi na medyo mahina sya humatak paakyat (bundok kse sa 'min). Can't help to compare other vans na nasasakyan ko papunta sa 'min.
From primera to segunda maganda yung hatak nla.

Any enlightenment is very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hi Lamont,

    Welcome to the forum!

The easiest solution is to check your air filter. Clean it, or better yet, replace it.

It would be helpful if you can post the mileage of your ride.

Also, you might need to calibrate your ride already. Sasagot ang mga diesel gurus for sure about that...

add ko lang...try to check din the spark plugs baga madumi na yung contacts resulting in less fuel burn.

Based from my experience on Hyudai engines, nagbabara agad yung filter sa loob ng injection pump, minsan 2 or yung iba 1 lang. :D

Ano year model ng Grace mo? D4BX engine? Alam ko sa mga bagong Hyundai Starex nakakabit eto. The old engines of Hyundai is D4BB. ( I might be wrong, might have to check on this ) :P

lamont::: Nope it's not the fuel filter. Injection Pumps are small engine-like part sa tabi ng makina, right after the diesel fuel exits the fuel filter. :D

This is the last part wherein your diesel will be pump before it reaches your engine.

lamont::: It is common that their first suspect is air and fuel filters be replaced then if the problem persists, your injection pump would have to be checked. I don't think adjusting the timing would be the next one, IMO. :D

Try going thru the cheapest solutions muna... yung change air filter and fuel filter... pag di na solve yan, tama si Ungas, you need to have your injection pump checked.

May mga expert tayo dito ng Diesel Calibrators, sina DOC DIESEL at si HANSON.

if all filters have been replaced and problem persists then you should try to make a visit to your nearest, trusted, trained, well-equipped calibration center.

Wala ba iyang mini-strainer sa fuel line kagaya ng 4D56. Baka iyon ang barado. I remember how much effect it had on Dieseler's ride according to his stories dati.

May detailed instructions si Kupaloids on cleaning it. Nasa "Maintenance...." Thread somewhere dito sa diesel forum.

in terms of calibration, sa isuzu engine (crosswind, fuego) pinapacalibrate din ba ito? di ba direct injection ang engine ng isuzu?
