Yup, tagal ko na naghahanap niyan. Mukhang walang marunong gumawa dito sa atin, eh.

A friend of Freeman can do it. We were planning to imitate side bars also.

August 12th, 2003 03:29 PM #10Otep, if you take a look at my samurai, you will see that it has the same concept as the rock slider and it also bolts on to attachments on the frame. While this ladder type, uses 3 mounting points, mine uses only 2 structurally reinforced points since the samurai is a lighter vehicle. I have additional design features that would improve the stepboard's ability to glide through both rocks and mud but have not incorporated them yet. These bars were made by our company's welder so you'll have to find someone to do the actual welding for you. The bars are sturdy enough to be the base of my external rollcage and worked well when I rolled over just recently. One piece of advice though is to make sure that you don't over-engineer this piece of equipment because we do not do the kind of serious rock crawling that the rubicon offroaders do. Trust me on this. it will add too much unnecessary weight. Just build one to protect your vehicle from the occasional rock that might be hiding beneath the mud. Good Luck
P.S. You can probably see this part on my vehicle at http://www.pbase.com/deltarecon
there's this youtube article, about a 2000s altis, that had a high rpm on cold start (2000+ daw),...
