Up, up and away!!! :D
What is the ideal height for suspension lift on SUVs? Daily driven plus weekend offroad.
And if you can also include what brand of suspension and shock absorbers readily available here in our market. :D

daily driven siguro mga 3" , not sure lang sa availability sa atin at kung may local made tayo .
dito pang araw araw nila mostly sa mga nakita ko is 5 - 6 " ang height and ProComp sikat , mahal nga lang pero sulit at tatagal talaga . kaya mataas kasi sa mga full size trucks ito or SUV .
DSM619::: sir, kahit imported items basta meron. :D I know americans tend to over do things. :P Is 5-6" lift advisable for city driving?
Ungas,
Heto po ay recommendation ko lamang for a budget lift. This will yield around 2"-3" over stock without using expensive lift kits.
Just buy 2" up coil springs from Ride or Armark. Reputable brands include OME, Ironman, etc.
Most aftermarket shocks from OME, Rancho, Bilstein or KYB will still work with your taller springs.
Dahil mas mataas na ride mo, you can stuff 33" tires underneath. O, ayan lifted ka na. Just don't forget to re-aim the headlamps and get the front wheels aligned.
2" from the springs + 1" from the tires = 3" (okay, a little less maybe).

OTEP::: That's what I was thinking of, mga 2-3 inch lift. Di kaya pumanget ang porma ng Safari? Then I imagined a 5-6 inch lift :P Baka naman magmukang "Clown Bus" instead of an Offroader, hehehehe :D
About the brands in suspension, my choices are either TJM or OME. (Any other brands available?)
Then for the shocks, Bilstein, Rancho, TJM or OME. (Procomp din sana kaso di yata available.)
I'm confused, which is which in exchange for the real value of money and quality plus riding comfort.
As for the tires, kapapalit ko lang ng front tires same size nung dati 32x15.
TJM is a good brand. Saka sa OME shocks pa lang ako may experience (a good one at that).

Okidok, 2-3 inch lift
I wonder when the TJM parts will be available soon? :?
OME products are avilable as of now, but they're priced a bit high. ( I wonder if I could get it lower? Need help. )
I might attach it with Airtek snorkels too. :D
Though I'm still open with different brands, I need more infos with each brand and their characteristics.
ungas::: pare cant wait to see your new improved Patrol! 8) Honestly, Once your three angles improve baka maging LC killer na yan! Among the three angles, mukhang weak ang Patrol sa Rampbreakover angle. Meron ka bang actual figure nito based on the Manual? I Just want to compare notes :D Sa Pajero V44 kasi approach = 42deg, Departure = 27deg, rampbreakover = 24.5deg

otep::: nice info! :D
dsm619::: ok or not depends on you and the terrain you traverse. The angles are there to guide you as to what your suv can or can not achieve. :D This is the reason why Pajeros, LC's and Patrols have Inclinometers.
DSM619,
Masyado mababa departure angle na 20 degrees. Kami nga almost 30 degrees na and yet we were still literally banging our asses the last time we were in pampanga. I guess most long wheelbase rigs really do drag their tails across obstacles.
The 42 degree approach angle seems ok depending on what will get hit first in case we go over 42 degrees. In our case, its the plastic bumper...Tsk tsk...At least 42 degrees is quite high already.

i second all that otep said. If you want to remedy your car's low Ass..... lifting springs!!! or if you want more angles for the cheap..... SPRING PADS :!::D Php100 lang isa!!!! around 1-2" lift! SA harap, you need torsion bar adjustments (for torsion bars only, of course) or lifting springs & pads OR TJM / ARB / Jaos bumpers! Magandang tignan for offroaders!!! but personally, not for me :D Di naaapreciate ng chiks e hehehe
.............oh what the heck! LETS GO CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
1) lifting springs
2) pads
3) BIG BIG TIRES
4) TORSION BAR ADJUSTMENT (if APPLICABLE)
4) TJM Bumpers (Guys nakita nyo yung Hilux ni Tantan? ganda:!
5) FRONT AND REAR DIFF LOCKERS (No sissy LSD for me... locking lang)
6) FRONT Power Take Off WINCH
7) REAR ELECTRIC WINCH (4000lb capable)
8) Long stroke Jack
9) ISNORKEL
Bad trip. Ok lang wala din naman ako pambile.

otep::: pare dami sa banawe nung pads! :D hanap ka na lang ng kasukat. Sa mga nagla-lako ka tanong. Madali lang install. all we need is a big alligator jack :D
OT na yata to , sorry tnx ulit .
