if you really want more power you might want to swap engines with me! mine is the gas version for the pajero.... lakas talaga power!

'm thinking of going diesel para matipid...

just suggesting though.....

v22: my cousin used have that gas engine( intercoler body) but sad to say mas lalong walang power, kinuha nga nya tire ng trooper ko eh 247/75/16 ksi nka lagay sa kanya 265/75/16 bad trip sya dahil d nya maabutan un hi lander sa slex...hehehe

kimpoy:talaga? sa akin max ko 120kph altough nka 265/75/16 ako....=)

3 pairs yata or 4, bilangin mo mamaya, hindi ko kasi dala ang strada,

also kaya rin umabot sa 160 dahil mas magaan ang strada di hamak vs the pajero

naka 31x10.5x15 ako, di naman nalalayo sa 265/75/16, actually halos magka size lang sila.

also ibang klase ang GOVIC highway sa Zambales, super ganda ng daan.

mine is gen 1 pajero with the gas 4G54 engine, is it the same with the intercooler body??

talaga mahina pa ito?? nalalakasan an kasi ako... andali mang overtake e.... pero hindi na ngayun... i had the carbs re jetted para tumipid, but i stil hav the orig jets just in case....

mahal na kasi gas e....

My pajero has a 4G54 engine. (3 doors)
4.5kms/liter ang consumption.
Faiview to Makati and back, P500 pinapalagay ko.

Was thinking of replacing the Jet valves, ano kaya difference sa km/liter?

Was also thinking of replacing the engine with 4M40, pero baka sky high ang price... daanin ko na lang ba sa proper maintenance?

Sir sobra naman yung 4.5km/L

Usually nasa 6-7 yan eh. Sinagot mo na rin yung solution.

Get a 4D56T na lang, its practically a bolt on procedure, we did this na.... Malaki ang tipid compared with the old engine. Got the diesel engine for 35k plus another 5k for the install and other miscellaneous parts

I agree, kung gusto mo tipid get a 4D56t lang. compared them myself, mas matipid ang 4d56t. 4m40 has better kick power though.

as agent_mac said, dalhin mo kay bro Zix...

another mod you an do is install a throttle controller. no increase in power pero mag-improve ng malaki ang response sa arangkada...

sir trooper marami pa po pwede galawin dyan. lahat po ng makina may hidden power yan kailangan lang talaga natin ay pera. hirap kasi buhay dito sa pinas kaya mahirap mag upgrade eh.
