Mga diesel masters,, question po: how hard or how easy is it to change the ATF ng 4D56?

Change oil ng tsikot, nagagawa na namin pero this would be the our first time to attempt na kami ang magpalit sa ATF.

    TIA.

dali lang kung diy person ka coz' partial oil change lang yan. just drain it via plug. make sure engine is up to temp then drain. to check atf level start engine, once at right temp move shift level to r,n,d (back and forth) then back to park. clean dipstick and check for level. should be between upper cold and upper hot mark.

You wont miss it.

The tricky part is putting in the new ATF. Dapat meron kang funnel (Embudo) na kasya sa pinaglalagyan ng Dipstick for the ATF sa engine bay. The size of the funnel should be smaller than the inner diameter of the dipstick well to allow air to vent during filling.

    i have...on my previous delica...state ko nalang..

    need mo:
    2. pre-cut cork gasket and atf oil filter (* less than 2,000 pesos) that you can buy in motorich in banawe..(mas maganda kung as-per sample(bring mo ung malinis mong oilpan and old oil filter)
    3. 8 liters of atf(i used dextron2 type, pero sabi nila diaqueen..ask mo nalang din sa motorich..
    4. 1 tube red silicone gasket maker if ever wala kang mahihingian ng kalahati lang...
5.1-2 liters of gaas(panlinis ng oil pan)
    6.1/2" or 1" paint brush
    7. 1 trusty assistant.

then remove the atf oil pan..ingat sa pagbaba, may approximately 1-2 liters of atf pa laman nito.

clean mo ung oil pan, including the magnets ( i believe there are 2 or 3 of those.)

pagkalinis mo, dry mo then if nakabili ka na ng cork gasket, atf and filter balik mo na. fill the pan with atleast 4 liters(or until full) ng atf.

remove the hose going in and out the atf oil cooler(sa radiator sana, pero, madami pa babaklasin, e ung oil cooler nasa my harapan lang...)

then start mo ung engine(dont shift the a/t lever) this is just to remove the old atf in the torque converter)

pag naka halos 3- 3.5 liters ka na din, patayin mo ung makina, ibalik mo ung hoses then refill the atf to its right level...

malabo ba? teka hanapin ko ung 4x4mag ko at scan ko...
