ngayong tag baha gaano dapat kadalas repack hubs ng 4x4?
magkano ba bearing?
gusto ko rin matuto magrepack e.
paturo naman sir alfred
the same work involved ma lang di ba, if you have it repacked and changed?
so palit ka na lang ng bearings and oilseals, like ungas ready na sa baha last summer pa.Originally Posted by afrasay

For the front set yes, but the rear diffs bearings will have to be pressed out and back in when replacing.Originally Posted by ARB
Heavy duty wheel bearing grease (forgot the brand), dun sa van namin black yung kulay ng grease, then dito sa Safari kulay blue naman (para terno sa body color, hahaha!) :D

baka omega yung grease na gamit mo?
yung Marfak grease by caltex ata.
otomatic::: Cone/cup bearings on all differentials even on the front ends. :D

I saw some lc80 na iba and rear diffs niya parang sa mga elf trucks, yung floating axle ata yon? Diba may inner and outer bearings ito na easy to repack?
otomatic::: Hahaha! Gurang ba kamo?!
most lc 80 ive seen and lc60, some lc75 troop carrier have full floating rear axles, they are easier to repack and is stronger than semi-floating ones. they can accomodate bigger tires without much strain.
ungas...as in ung switch ng automatic and manual na hubs sa front nagrasahan mo na!?Originally Posted by Ungas

GlennSter,
May mekaniko ka sa bahay diba? Hehehe.

GlennSter::: Merong mechanic-on-call sina chieffy. Madali lang naman galawin yung front hubs, as long as naalala nila ang mounting ng locks and slots.
roydok::: According from our parts catalogue, same bearing units ang ginagamit ng Strada and Pajero. Just pull out the whole diff shaft makikita nyo agad yung isang side ng bearing.
sir..gaano katagal ang how much pagawa?Originally Posted by Ungas
