Saan po ba ang JP Wheel sa paranaque? Ang presidents ave ba yung road from Tahanan papuntang Mcdo? Mayroon ba dito alam tel number ng JP Wheels? (Hindi kasi puwede JP sa search, too short daw, dami naman kapag wheels) Thanks.

jkyamog::: Dipende sa differentials kung live axles or semi-live axles ang rear differentials. I would suppose your sample has rear brake drums. You will have to remove all brake parts, brake shoes & springs, in order to pull out the axle, there should be 4 bolts mounting it from back plate. Remove bolts and back plate. You should be able to see the axle and oil seal. Pull out the oil seal carefully to avoid damage and may be reused if not damaged in the process. Some have cone & cup type bearings that have solid axle bearing locks which will need to be pressed out in a machine shop. While other axles have twin cone/cup/cone type.
Now for the front 4WD IFS, you will also need to remove brake pads, raise caliper, remove front hubs to be able to pull out the front axles. Yes, axles boots can also be replaced in the process, brake rotors skimmed, pads cleaned or replace. Ball joints and tie rod ends are optional. Another important part to clean or replace if needed are oil seals.

Ungas thanks very much for the good explanation. I will add oil seals in my fix. Now only problem is that its a Feroza I just hope a toyota axle boot and oil seal is available. After my Feroza next naman ang Terrano. Very similar drivetrain.
My choices to service are: Minerva, I ask them na, ok naman ata labor 400 each. Any feedback sa Minerva sa alabang area? Servitek either yung sa alabang or sucat, I heard some negative feedbacks na sa servitek alabang. Dati doon ako nagpapagawa ok naman, dala lang ako sarili parts. JP Wheels, but I don't know where they are. It seems highly recommended sila. I just wish someone can give me a number or direction to go there.
I am glad to learn this new things, para naman pay back time ko na sa feroza ko. Super bait sa akin walang tirik problema, etc. 200Kms++ na ata, ngayon lang matatikim ng bearing repacking.
I looked at google and read what is a live axle, I think a feroza rear is a live axle. I have another question. Is pressing the bearing out always a needed step? So I know if I need to ask the mechanic to do this. Is it supposed to be always done by a machine shop? Para lang malaman ko if the mechanic is trying to force things.

Sa pasong tamo lang ba sila speedfix hindi ba sa Shaw? I have texted speedfix and asked for quotes. Pricing is normally competitive and he seems to have a very good reputation. Problem lang kasi sa akin is I live in las pinas. Malalayo kila speedfix, although kung pasong tamo lang iyan its much better.
So I normally ended up paying for more or doing the job in a less reputable place. Wala bang speedfix alabang

mdpo::: Sound good to me, but better check the details if it is used for high speed. High temp is optional but worth the spec.
jkyamog::: Feroza uses same platfrom from Toyota Blizzard. So you can be sure that there are parts that can fit perfectly. About the machine shop procedure and steps in pressing out the cup or lock. Kailangan nyo na bumili ng bago, once this piece of metal is pressed in and out or vice versa. Nawawala na yung integrity nito, ang probably misconfigured in the process. Kadalasan press out by machine then pukpok sabay bagsak ng buong axle sa semento. Just ask them to do it more carefully, minsan nabibingot ang axle splines in the process of dropping it hard on to the ground. Kung ayaw nyo ng bagsak style, acethylene ang paraan, tutunawin yung lock para lang matanggal. Heating metal is not good also. American Grease Super Moly Lithium Grease
A Lithium soap based grease with consistency grade NLGI No. 2. It is a good quality molybdenum disulfide compounded multi-purpose grease also treated with soluble chemical additives to prevent wear especially under very highly loaded conditions. Uses in general purpose applications where medium to severe conditions prevails.

Yes its a Blizzard, sana there where Blizzards sold locally. Or sana dumami ang subic na Blizzard, or sana they start importing Japan Feroza
Just one clarification. When repacking the rear bearings, does it always have to involve pushing out the bearings (which also means machine shop involvement)? If it does I should also prepare to buy bearings to replace them, since from what I understand based from your explanation once its been pushed out by the machine shope i can't be put back in.
Looks like it is held by adhesive. Anyway, malapit na ang PMS ko at ipaayos ko ito sa Ford at...
