mga sir, si joe (jose) aspiras po ay ang secretary of tourism nung panahon ni marcos. alalay na yan bago pa maging president si marcos.(in the company of ople and gen. ver)

he is from agoo,la union and project niya yang marcos hiway which starts in agoo. ( most likely pati yung marcos bust and the golf course doon)

for cycling enthusiasts, the tour ng pilipinas will be going to baguio from vigan today. and the baguio-to-baguio lap ( down marcos hiway, up naguilian , down marcos then up kennon road in one day)

if you're a decent driver then wala naman special about going to Baguio. Sa driving skills basta marunong kang magbigay, di nagmamadali ok ka naman diyan. Kami ng wife ko we see to it that part of our vacation is the trip. We stop whenever and wherever we want para hindi ka ba pressured na kailangan ka ng dumating. I would highly recommend using Marcos highway. Pass, maybe 300 m from Rosario junction (yung pa-Kennon na) then turn right. Road signs are complete so di ka mawawala. After the tunnel bumwelo ka coz ito yung pinaka mahaba na going up. Labas mo ay Petron/Green Valley na and go straight labas ka na sa rotunda. From there you can basically anywhere. May color coding sa Session. FYI, places we like to eat. Bfast in cafe by the ruins, o may khan, forest house, le souffle sa john hay manor, marios, don henricos started there sa session, hot choko (batirol) sa session (phil.treasures). Enjoy!

anong ok na hotel sa baguio near the city center na meron guarded parking area. ok as in medyo bago na hindi na kelangan magdala ng sariling unan, yung shower malakas ang tubig at mainit talaga, at hindi mabaho ang rooms.

boybi: most of the hotels near the city center luma na. Kung family kayo ok sa John Hay Manors, malaki yung rooms, bago, maganda ambiance.

Meron kaming natirhan dun yung Pine Lodging House kaso nasa Bokawkan road.

if you want a hotel right smack in the city center, hotel veniz is it. it is located right in front of the public market. feedback i get from friends who have checked in there says the place is good and modern. they claim to have basement parking too. city travel hotel in kisad road is good too. it is across burnham park and has a wide parking area. Good hotels in legarda road, the street parallel to kisad, are prince plaza and baguio palace hotel. both have guarded parking too.
