4D56 Valve Clearance Adjustment

Parang hindi ako agree sa mechanic na yun pre :D

Valve tappet clearance should be adjusted when warm, per shop instruction.

.....tama yung logic pero mali yung reasoning. After all, kelan ba importante na tama ang clearance, kung umaandar(warm) or hindi(cold)? :D

Non basis nga yung mechanic, twice pa lang ako nag pa adjust. Di rin naman cold yung engine, I have to drive the vehicle to where the mechanic is. :D

Guys Up ko lang... my pajero needs valve clearance adjustment nagalaw kasi nung change timing belts kaya i need the exact adjustment for the 4D45TDIC...

base kasi siya ngayon sa L200 na 4d56 lang nakalagay sa manual na 10 so 10 siya ngayon pero hindi po ito ang tunog ng pajero ko.. kaya papa adjust ko

bakit sabi ni PK 25 tapos kay Ungas 16 he.he. no manual kasi ako.. kaya wala ako reference kundi kayo lang mga taga tsikot..

marwen:::4d45 TDIC ba engine mo? di ako familiar diyan. 4d56 non turbo yun sakin. 12 straight lang prime ang adjustment namin. pag 14 maingay pero medyo tipid sa consumption. pag 12 medyo tahimik pero medyo malakas crudo, pero matulin.

okay sir hintayin ko na lang reply ng iba.. 10 kasi sa akin ngayon and medyo maingay... tanong ko lang kung tumataas like higher than 10 umiingay ba kasi sabi sa akin ng kaibigan ko if going up yung value dapat humihina ang knocking sound ng engine...
