the exped here with 25" rims here has a whole lot more rubber than some compact sedans with 17" rims.

Depends on what your SUV is. If it's an Exped/Nav/Escalade, pwede. But still, there's the matter of what road you can safely drive it on. IMO, I'd go for 20-22 for those types of SUVs.

ang sa akin ok na 18" with 60 series tires. piliin na lang ang mags na ala banana type para magmukhang malaki tignan ang diameter. kung paikot ikot ka lang sa mga magagandang kalye, ok ang 20" to 24" inch wheels, kung mahilig mag-overtake sa shoulder with potholes, yari ang mags with 40 series tires..

whats the diff between the one exported to australia and the one that is available here?parang ang layo na itsura ng amc hummer nmin compared to the pic you posted,well except for the wheels,does it still have the safari chassis and engine?

i talked to jappy when i saw him last sport truck show in megamall,he told me that he is planning to enter a limo amc hummer soon on other shows.

According to the manufacturer, exported Hammers are longer by about 3" to better cover the chassis (at the expense of being proportional). Other than that, the local and the export are virtually identical. However, the local Aussie distributor and the buyer is free to modify the unit (some have ugly bumpers, etc.). IMHO, parang mas pogi pa din ang local.

Btw, the Hammer used in Manny Pacquiao's motorcades is Aussie-sized.
