If you can buy a battered VW... a Brazillia or a Beetle for instance... you can easily build the Hummbug. After all... it's basically a Kit Car.

Any competent fabricator can scale to fit the hummer to the VW pan platform.

at the recent VWCP-batangas chapter show a "HUMBUG" caught my attention
engine chasis from a type-3 VW. body fabricated up north fully airconditioned entry came all the way from baguio city.

Is the body using rivets? why? would you want rivets on your PhUV?
yung body structure(sheetmetal and braces), copy din ba sa original or design ng AMC?

hmmm... I wonder... Why hasn't the military invested for this AMC Hammer?

Plus, I think its a better buy than Japanese 4x4's out there if you are really going to push harder... I believe this Hammer will last 50+ years. Put a Front, Center and Rear Diff. Now its better! More flex than the Hummer, more approach and departure than the Patrol and the loading capacity of the Jeepney.

Sana meron nang Hammer H2. para mas civilized.... hehehe... wag lang lagyan ng IFS.

*ocanursjr - thank you sir. yes we are putting this out on market as well. this will be on a per order basis similar to the replica of the Hummer. as for the pricing, we are still finalizing the cost of the unit. this one is a protoype and a specific order from a foreign client.

Is there a smaller (car based instead of truck based) version? Local fabricators like Sarao and FMC missed out on the SUV trend. Now it's all about CUVs (crossovers) and they're going to miss that too.

Car manufacturer today are building small crossover SUV. Remember Toyota RAV 4 in the 90's? Ang porma ng RAV 4 dati. Sana magkaroon ng small crossover SUV ang AMC Hammer.
