burai i asked jappy a year ago. he said that if you have a donor vehicle, the tub or body is:

500k - pickup type
550k - wagon

not so sure but from the top of i mind yan yun. i think standard na ang body measurements nito. he told me that as long as the chassis is proportion to the hammer's body, its ok

thanks sir jj sa reply. sir ano yung tub? yep may nabasa na akong about that, 500k pagdonate pero pag kotse na nila mismo bibilhin it would cost around 800k+.
kaso sir sa donate, ang madalas ko lang nababasa was ang inaaccept lang nila ay trooper at patrol dahil yun lang proportionate as of the moment (sana nga pati ibagn body pwede). sana makausap ko rin yung jappy na yun para sa mga inquiries ko to get some fast and direct answers din. sila ba may ari nung amc?

sorry to confuse bro .. i only assume from 800K base price then mga other accesrory na ipapakabit.. almost 1M na din ..for sure gwapo at macho na ang ride mo sa price na ito. but the 800K base price was 2008 pa.. baka mas mataas na ang price ngayon ng Alana ? .. but still cheaper pa rin sa current price ng mga orig na hammer

to clarify lang po.
tama po sabi ni sir JJ, pero 650t wagon and 600t pickup po ang body.
donor vehicle naman po si either nissan safari or toyota landcruiser lc80.
magandang donor vehicles po ito coz 6cylinder na ang engine and para di underpower and unit.
pwedeng lumampas pa po ng 1m and unit, pero siyempre depende na sa may ari.
if mura lang makuha yung donor vehicle and wala masyadong accesories, less than 1m talaga.
pero pag no limit, lampas talaga ng 1m abutin.
dun naman po sa fx as donor vehicle, medyo maliit po siya masyado.
i think magkasya po dun yung bodies na jr hammer ng md jeepstar.

pasensiya na kung pinagpipilitan ko yung fx na yun, it's a dream project for me, kasi not just some restoration ek ek. mas pabor kasi relatives ko (even my family) na mapa andar uli yung nakatambak na fx na yun (nakatambak kasi di na magamit...) kesa sa bumili bagong 2nd hand car to use.

ang dream project ko po kasi dun was:
custom body niyo na hammer na mas maliit sa fx
+ change tires na mukang pang offroad talaga (kahit na ba for city driving lang purpose niya)
and incase di po kayo nagawa body na katulad ng current hummers ngayon kahit mini version man lang
+ add bodykits from atoy to make it look like a current hummer


i know ang layo po nung outcome na gusto kong maatain, pasensiya na pero question ko rin po kasi yun, kaya niyo po bang gumawa ng ganyang body (hummer) na mas maliit pa sa fx or katulad nung jr na sinasabi niyo? if pwede sir how much naman po magagastos? yung interior kayo na rin ba papalit or ireretain yung sa fx?

so buong chassis pati suspension ng FX ang i retain. pero ang makina na 2c (tama ba ako?) mukhang masyadong mahina sa bigat ng body. i think you don't need body kits to make it look like a real hummer cause hummer look alike na ang AMC hammer alone. besides its an hummer H1, not H2 or H3, in which it has a utilitarian look and not plasticy.. maybe you're thinking of H2 na lagyan mo ng body kit?

i think their body comes with complete upholstery from floor to ceiling

AFAIK AMC only manufactures hummer H1 clones.

mas maliit nga lang ng konti siguro yung body lalabas.
siguro, instead na td42 which is nissan, mas maganda yung 4m40 na engine na pang pajero na din talaga.
para yung underchassis, yun na din ang gagamitin.
malapad kasi yung underchassis ng safari compared sa pajero na chassis.

actually kaya naman siguro, pero never pa namin na try. nag stick kasi kami sa 4x4 donors, para suited better sa body na ikakabit.

btw i just saw an AMC hammer here in my place (cagayan de oro) color yellow pero noon mukhang black daw yata.. maganda nga sya pero di ko nakita ang interior.

i didn't know amc made hammers. were they sledge, ball peen, cross peen , straight peen, claw, engineer's hammers? they did at one point made hummers(HMMWV) and they lost the company, purchased by general motors. then they made the wanna be hummers as H2 and H3.

The "AMC" mentioned here refers to "Alana Motors Corporation" and not "American Motors Corporation". Alana Hammers are replicas of the HMMWV's.
