Pwede naman basta marunong ka or you have a good service manual.
But assess mo muna skill level mo. This is not a job for novice mechanics (like me!). hehehe.

on a lot of vehicles replacing the timing belt requires removing the largest engine support. kaya kung wala kang block-and-tackle or similar to support the engine, madugo yan. mga 2k - 3k yata ang labor niyan in places like speedyfix and similar. mahal talaga sa rapide.

nandyan na nakabitan na... infact gumanda performance ng car mo (as stated) next time stick to original oem products medyo mahal ngunit sigurado naman... kaysa sa mga hindi kilala na brand kunwari made in germany, uk, japat, us, etc... lahat kung hindi made in taiwan, made in china... (madali lang mag print sa product at packaging) mahirap na kasi, halimbawa nasa expressway ka magisa tapos nalagot ang timing belt diba...
with regards to the longevity and the time to replace the timing belt its best to check the manual of your vehicle, sundin mo lang iyun manufacturer's specifications...
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
