These warnings are already stated in the car owner's manual and the jack's instruction manual or on the jack body itself.

Unfortunately most people, don't read anymore.

    btw,
i always have a pair of wooden wedges in my rear trunk. it's always good practice to use them against the car's un-jacked tire, to help prevent the car from moving when jacked up during roadside flat tire fix.

Dr. D, that's what a working parking brakes are for. 😁, But you can never be too safe. As per Murphy's law.

i am a strong believer in murphy's law.
    ...personal experience, many times already.

and yes, it's hard to rely on the rear parking brakes, when the flat tire is at the rear... which is the usual.
sabi sakin ng isang nakaka-alam, the front tire causes the nail to stand up, and the rear tire gets it in.

Same here, I don't rely too much to handbrakes. Back then, my mother parked our L300 and pulled the handbrake and went out of the vehicle and closed the door. Suddenly, the van slowly moved backward and gained momentum and went straight out across the road and hit the store in front of our house.

My father who also parked his ... and a friend of mine ... and the friend of my friend ...

Well, too numerous occasions about handbrake failures. Question is, do I have a pair of wooden wedges? No, I don't have and I'd like to look for one.

Not only in this situation but also when you have your tire vulcanized at a road side shop, iiwanan nilang naka jack lang yan, while they patch your tire, pag nag fail yung jack, can you imagine the damage? tapos walang pambayad ang mga yun

You can buy anti-slip tire chocks/blocks online like in Lazada.

Before every registration, the vehicle should go to vehicle safety and emissions test( idealistic) but most of the time this is violated. As a responsible vehicle owner, it is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle is compliant, otherwise, kamot ulo when the unfortunate event happens. The parking brake must work not only for compliance but for your own safety.

I never thought about that possibility. So what is your suggestion if ever you need to have your tire patched?

Because links may change, just type "Car Anti-slip Block" or "Tire Chock" or "Car Stop Block" in the search box. It will show you the correct item.

    Example of Tire Chock/Block:

Ang dami ko na namiss na replies hahaha, I am also planning to get a jack stand especially pag natuto nako mag kalikot sa oto ko para pag may aayusin is safe pag inangat kaso ang problema ko lang is wala daw front jacking point ang city? totoo ba ito? Sa civic fd kasi meron may nakita ako na video sa yt na pinakita lahat ng jacking point ng civic fd nung chineck ko sa city ko parang wala ngang front jacking point?

Second, do not use a garage jack at any one corner of the car specially unibody/unitized body. The car's frame can twist so much that might crack the windshield or rear window or delaminate it away from the windshield/window frame causing water leaks when it rains. If you watched this from Scotty Kilmer, don't do it for reasons just stated.
Diko pa rin magets to can someone elaborate or explain this in layman's term? ang pag kakaintindi ko wag gamitan ng ibang jacking tool other than the scissor jack na kasama sa sasakyan nung binili pag ijajack up sa side jacking points? tama po ba ang pagkakaintindi ko?

or you can drop by a lumberyard and ask for a pair of 4 x 4's, about 12 inches long. then trim to a roughly triangular cross section.
