Hi, here's the situation... binaha sasakyan ko but it caused me just a little damage. nabasa lang carpet. My question. Is it ok to just dry the carpet? Actually, di nako nagpa-detailing at ako na mismo naglinis ng carpet while intact with the floor(di ko inalis). Its dry now and the odor slowly faded away bec I sprayed lysol disinfectant.

Ang concern ko lang yung nabasa na metal floor beneath the carpet. di ba mag-corrode yun kasi talagang di ko na inalis ang carpet e. Thanks in advance.

Sadly there is no shortcut here. If the carpet gets wet (like in the floods) or submerged in flood water, you are obligated to remove it asap. Clean the carpet w/ deteregent, rinse and air dry thoroughly before reinstalling it. Do the same for every nook and cranny on the metal floor of the "bare" car.

kahit carpet lang nabasa you need to have it removed and cleaned. Some carpets have a rubber sheet liner below and this traps water. To be sure have it removed, washed and dried.

wet carpet, is it ok not to have it detailed?
