pag may leak yung radiator kahit walang tagas minsan mauubos yun cooland, kasi vapor yung nag leak.. >>

Kung may leakage tapos stress pa yung engine madaling mag overheat kasi yung pressure ng hot h2o/coolant from engine help fluid to push from top of radiator via fins to bottom(cooled h2o) tapus push naman ng water pump balik sa engine jacket..>>

August 5th, 2004 01:49 PM #24Patulong naman po, kasi yung galant ko recently nagloloko ang engine temp. Dati stable lang sya sa kalahati ng guage ngayon tumataas sya hanggang 3/4 ng temp gauge tapos bababa ulit hanggang kalahati kapag nag on na yung radiator fan. ok naman yung pump ang duda ko e yung temperature sensor.
saan ba makikita ang sensor nun at pwede bang ma adjust ang level nun para yung ON temp ng radiator fan ay bumaba?

August 5th, 2004 03:32 PM #25walang problema ang temp sensor... kung di gumana yan wala mag register sa gauge mo. its located sa me engine block yan.
if i wer u check the radiator fan kung malakas pa. den do a radiator flush. para mawala yun mga kalawang sa loob ng radiator.
check mo yun mga hoses mo kung me tagas.
check mo yun water pump mo... i think me tagas na yan.

August 5th, 2004 04:10 PM #26salamat sa reply pero walang tagas ang water pump ko. I think the problem is the radiator fan turns on at a higher temperature unlike before.
Susubukan ko ring i flush ang tubig. Like I said walang tagas ang pump ko at wala din syang sira ang problema lang talaga matagal mag on ang radiator fan ko na sa tingin ko ay related sa thermostat.
Yung thermostat ba ay pwedeng ma adjust para mag on ang rediator fan at a lower temperature?

check your radiator cap... kung kaya pa nya mag hold ng pressure.
check ur cylinder head gasket. very rare mangyari to pero possible.
if u wanna check ur water pump... medyo delikado but the only way is take a very long screw driver stick it near the pump while engline is running.... listen to it like a stethoscope if u hear a rattling sound... me internal leakage ang pump mo....

The only defect a water pump experiences is either a leak in the Seals or busted shaft. Dun sa leak, you will see directly on the pump iteslf na may 2lo, as for the drive shaft naman, open the radiator cap while the engine is running, if you'll see that the water is running inside then the pump impeller is ok.
I dont know kung ano ang major contirbutor sa incident nayan. Dahil ba made in china yung ev car o...
