I'm using XCS and occasionally Vortex Gold. I think walang pinagkaiba.

Last full tank ko Petrox XCS, it seems to last longer than when I get caltex gold. And the caltex station in our place(Better Living/Bicutan) is currently closed.

They have differences with the additives used. We also use XCS for our rides... seem to get better mileage (based on my estimates when i gas up) and has better tolerance against detonation on our car which was picky with fuel before.

Ano ba ang ride mo? Baka pwede mag-shift ka na lang sa regular unleaded, which is P0.60 cheaper per liter than premium (XCS or Vortex Gold). I'm now again contemplating on this in view of the weekly increases in price plus the implementation of E-VAT.

2004 civic. 91 RON lang requirement talaga. pero i'm going for 95 to be sure. can't trust the quality of fuels here sa pinas. i read sa internet before na marami nang na close na mga gas station sa US dahil sa bad fuels nila (lower octane than posted; marumi). if this happens to 1st world countries how much more dito?

My ride, Innova Gas, requires 91 RON too. At first I used Petro Unleaded (93 RON) then 2 months ago I shifted to XCS for better performance. So, now I'm thinking on using back the Xtra Unleaded or just minimize the use of my car to save on fuel cost.

Based on experience, I like XCS over Gold. But overall, Velocity is the best. Don't be fooled by those indicated octane ratings. XCS, Gold, Velocity and those others are all 95 octane, but definitely, there are differences in quality between them.
