About tyres...
Palagi kong napapanood/napapansin sa car reviews na "road noise probably due to econo tyres"
If bibili ako ng bagong tyres for my car, paano ko malalaman na "econo" yung binibili ko?
Don’t worry too much about it. There are good tires at a decent & affordable price. In fact, there are more expensive sport tires that are noisy too.
If you want decent tires on a budget, check out any of the Indonesian brands - GT, Achilles, Accelera, Neuton.

Econo-tires are tires designed for long mileage so they typically have harder rubber that wears down more slowly.
Goodyear Duraplus, Michelin Energy XM2+, Dunlop Enasave - the name typicay hints at economy rather than grip or handling.
I've written about this extensively here:

Econo? I dont think tyre manufacturers used this phrase. They used "eco" or maybe economical? Im not sure.
"Budget tires" is more of a generalizarion that they are more affordable.
Older small cars had alot of road noise because lesser insulation in the wheel wells.
Low rolling resistance tires with low tyre pressures will be noisy.
Any lead where I can buy achilles ATR Sport? Hirap makahanap.
Around marikina or antipolo area sana.
I tried looking for tyre reviews, kaso most of the interesting ones are not local
Thanks.
But was looking at Good Year's site for passenger tyres...
Sa normal buyer, anong tyre dapat ang performance+reduced road noise?
hahaha.. oo nga, "econo" pala na type ko... it should be "eco"
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5. Almost same level of performance as Michelin PS4 - i.e phenomenal grip, best-in-class rain performance, good wear, and low road noise.
If you go for the cheaper variants like a Triplemax Assurance or Duraplus, but you'll have far less dry grip for sure, but typically better wear (maybe about 5-10k km longer).
