well, the top side will NOT rust unless it wasn't done correctly (priming and painting). There's no way you can rust proof the top part anyway, paint won't adhere to cavity wax (which is what rustproofing spray really is)... Unless you want to drive around with yellow streaky gunk on the paint hehe.
