just had my alternator belt replaced at Reys in Marikina.

from ordinary smooth belt they replaced it with Gates Vbelt type. They said vbelts are better than the smooth ones.

after one day, meron erratic screeching sounds pag full load (aircon+headlights) and usually pag nag slow down ako, or pag naka full stop at aandar na ako.

ano kaya problem? palpak kaya vbelt? pangit ba yung gates?
