jackaroo: How long does these plugs last? Would it be advisable to replace them with iridiums on my ride's next pms? thanks.

RevoGSX,
I used Denso Iridium plugs with my Previous Revo SRJ matic, impressive ang throttle response and acceleration compare to stock Denso.

I'm not sure why the xtrail manual specifies a 40k km change interval for these plugs but i'd change every year(or 15k kms) since they're just standard plugs.
Don't know if the LFR5A-11 has an equivalent in NGK iridiums yet. But may be safer to stick to stock plugs while the warranty is in effect.

sir revoGSX, 600 po ang sabi sa akin ng service adviser doon sa toyota casa, pero i think ok lang naman magpalit, d naman void ang warranty. but then ang sabi nya lang sakin it will last longer... 20K km daw, eh pero yung ordinary spark plug nga eh 15K bago pinalitan, eh 300 per set lang siya

sir mazda..sorry for the late reply, hindi po iridium yung pinapalit sa akin, ordinary denso lang, remember 1.8L po un engine ko since 4x2 lang...
hindi ako nagpalit ng iridium since 20K nga lang ang lifespan, ang ordinary spark plug can last up to 15K km din naman..so dun lang ako sa ordinary denso..
300++ for a set of 4 na siya hehe
