Plan ko po magpalit ng "CV joint" assembly and if incase pati "Axel Shaft" on my Corolla 90.
1. How much po ba yung replacement of the two items i've mentioned? Any idea po?
2. Is it possible to replace only one side, for instance sa right side?
3. What brand for replacement is best in quality, durability?
4. How much po kaya aabutin on Labor?
Right Side, since dun po yung may tumutunog pag malubak(Tipong mababaklas na yung buong sasakyan sa ingay ng manubela) Example po, pag dumaan ako coming from San Juan going to Araneta Ave. Pagpasok na pagpasok po kase ng A.Ave mejo malubak ayun, Nagpproduce na ingay Nanginginig na manubela and sound under the hood start to roar.
But I was wondering kase na pagnaka aspalto yung kalsada and my mga lubak, hindi naman po nagpproduce ng sound sa manubela.
Salamat po in advance

replacement c.v.joint is 1850 per piece, nkn brand. labor 450/pc. i would recommend replacing both sides to save downtime.
based on your symptoms mentioned, baka balljoints lang yan. CVJ sa pagliko tumutunog.
replacement balljoint 650/pc.
i just had my CVJ's replaced. my problem now is lumalagutok pa rin kahit going straight lang basta arangkada. sabi mekaniko, mawawala daw yun after some time. until lumapat mabuti new CVJs. sana nga.

Have them also check both, inner and outer joint.

Better replace it than used the same one. CV joint is one of the most crucial mechanical parts of your car so its a lot wiser to replace besides may tama na yan. Remember, your mechanic must know the torque of your CV joint when he reassembled back in, too tight can damage the halfshaft, too loose will damage it too. If your not sure about your mechanic if he knows about this find out the torque lbs., of your car.
