this happened years back pero i-share ko na din since nakita ko last week nung bumili ako parts dun, yung mekaniko na palpak ang top-overhaul sa kotse ko eh may i-ooverhaul nanaman na kotse. "carding" name nya if i remember it right, bald guy kaya easy to identify.

eto experience ko sa kanya, loose compression kotse ko noon at sila may pinakamababa charge sa top-overhaul.. binantayan ko gawa nya kahit ala pa ko alam sa engines that time.

1st mistake -- sinabit nya yung timing belt, pati yung bearing sa drier ng aircon ko, i questioned that, he replied "sir, matibay naman yan". after ng overhaul ayun may leak ang freon ko sa drier, he payed for it naman.

2nd big mistake -- after 2 months nahalata ko nauubos ulet engine oil ko, i keep topping up every week. binalik ko sa kanya then he diagnosed na gasket daw sira, ayaw ng auto prens na free of charge kahit under warranty pa, 1st overhaul was 7k, 5k na lang daw to replace the gasket so inaway ko sila ng todo. after the fight i went to shell, again i had the engine overhauled, pagkatanggal ng piston, bigla nagtawanan mga mechanic ng shell. i found out na "carding" had installed the 3 piston rings in a perfect alignment so there was a straight gap.

warning lang po sa mga taga las pinas or paranaque that carding is still the guy who does the overhaul jobs in auto prens alabang. and sa warranty ng auto prens? well masasabi ko lang po jan eh "nagsunog lang ako ng 7k sa kanila"
