We've never carried Merwede or R-1's though, as we tend to shy away from products we've had poor encounters with.
sir Auto_Xer, you've had poor encounters with Merwede? sorry, kasi lahat nagsasabi na ok siya for my car... would you mind sharing your experience? curious din ako kung ano downside ng Merwede e...
contrary to what most of us are hearing, the ride quality of r-1 lowering springs is not really that bad. depende po sa car/application. for corollas(ae92 and ae101) ok ang ride quality nya. r-1s with levin short struts ngayon nakakabit sa ae92 ko. close to stock ang ride. yung para honda civics lang yata ang di maganda ang feedbacks. merwedes naman, oks din naman ang reviews/feedbacks. maganda pa ang stance. medyo mas mataas ang likod kesa harap.
d_four ano ba ang ride ng r-1s sa car mo hindi ba parang kabayo? what type of shocks are you using gas or fluid? sabi kc ung H&r daw medyo matigas ng konti. ang R-1 b hindi malambot syado?:worried:
don, di naman parang kabayo. he he. yung r-1s ko is paired with levin TEMS short gas struts(JDM na corolla shocks). pwede rin kyb excel Gs. generally, pag naglowering springs ka, talagang titigas ng kaunti ride mo. H&Rs are good. basta european made, like eibach maganda ride pero they are quite expensive. merwedes oks din, oks din price. advisable talaga is to pair lowering springswith gas shocks. kasi pag fluid type, magiging maalon yung ride and madali pa masisira shocks.
