ok lang ba ung pasadya na bubutasan ung upper part ng Sparkplug
just recently my bro got this type of sparkplug pinabutas nya sabi nya skin masmaganda daw un keysa sa Iridium totoo ba 2 o my pwedeng magyari sa Engine mo in the long run

Unless your vehicle is heavily modified (properly) - sparkplugs are the last thing that you should mess around with.

I guess to add more spark points. May mga plugs that have V-cut (not the potatoe chips) tips. Baka this is what he was refering to. A hole drilled on the top of the tip would have a same effect but you have to bend the curve thingie thats aimed into it and rebend to it and adjust the sparkgap.

your plugs can last way past 10,000km. more so if platinum sila. depende rin sa use yan.

Sa akin, i just use ordinary Denso. 2 years na and i have not replaced it yet, kasi okay pa naman performance. My mechanic advised me not to have it replaced kung walang problems encountered. One click lang start ko and walang palyado, good pa burning nya and still fuel efficient. So whats there to replace?

I also got text messages from a certain Engr. i think, he's from project 6, yung may alley, re spark plug modofications. According to him, some of his lists of clients are from Meralco and they are satisfied with it. Since i dont have the interest and intention to try it, pinalipas ko na lang. Well, if there are good feedbacks, share nyo na lang

old trick ng mechanics yan. no real experience with them pero it should act like the 2 or 4 tip plugs... the spark goes where there is less resistance.

the last time I gave away my platinums used for 10,000kms. nagamit pa more than 5k kms ulit it just died ;)

no real reason to do it kung stock ka... just replace them at regular intervals.

based from the image, hindi naman dun sa spark tip nag drill ng hole. dun sya sa connection ng high tension cables.

pag dyan yan binutasan, magkakalat ng kuryente ang spalrk plug cable mo, magkakaruon ng leakage sya dyan.
