when i had my wheels aligned nasobrahan siguro ng higpit pagbalik kaya naputol. ginamitan kasi ng impact wrench. napansin ko lang na putol ng i-double check ko pagdating sa bahay. ng hihigpitan ko sana nalaglag na lang.

is it still safe to drive with one less stud?

Happened to my brothers car, front and rear wheels naputulan ng stud. Its not safe lalo na pag high speed driving. Pwede naman palitan yung stud, check out the shops at banawe madami dun.

Did they use a machine to tighten the studs?

dali lang palitan yan. just knock out the remaining piece of the broken stud using a punch and hammer. then pag natanggal na, just insert the replacement stud then pull it in using the wheel lug nuts - just thread in the nut on the new stud and turn it in, mahihila na yung stud. use a washer or two para hindi masira yung lug nuts. when inserting the studs, check if the studs you bought are splined. if they are then make sure the splines are aligned on the corresponding splines in the hole.

thanks guys. maasahan talaga lagi ang tsikot

although i've already driven it for at least 500 kms nonstop with no problem, i'll play it safe and replace it asap.

Make sure you get the right sized stud.
