Question po. Hindi ba mababa and 10w30 para as pinas? Kasi ang alam ko (i can be wrong) na ang 10w30 ay para sa ambient temp na -20 hangang 30 celcius. So hindi ba dapat ang ginagamit natin ay 10w40 o yung pang higher ambient temp? Pero some manufacturers say to use 10w30 so alin ba ang tama? Ano ba ang advantage kung gamitin yung 10w30 na specified by the manufacturer?

Again, that depends on the engine. Suzuki does provide a nice chart in their owner's manual to help owners decide which among their recommended lubricants will work best in their specific regions.

10w30 is perfectly fine for the Philippines. Distinctions between 10 and 15 or 20 only really matter in cold starts, where the heavier oils that you can use here in the tropics will be too thick in cold weather.

in my honda ride, i have been using 10w30 mineral(regular) oil, wala pang problema, never akong nagkaroon ng problema sa engine run. As long as you change oil regularly it will be fine. Sobra mahal ang semi synthetic lalo na yong fully synthetic oil.
