Masyadong mausok!!!!

Napansin ko kagabi na masyado nang mausok buga ng tambusto ng kotse ko(corolla xe 92), I had my change oil last feb.. so i decided to have it again this morning, but after my change oil, paknsyet!!!.. parang walang nagbago.. mausok pa rin!!!.... ano kaya nangyari sa tsikot ko mga pre...papa-overhaul ko na ba?.. help naman pips... thanks a lot!!!!

kung puti ang usok, sad to say baka due for top overhaul ka na... baka sumusunog na ng oil ang engine mo, palitin na ang piston rings...

Malakas na ba kumain ng langis? baka worn out na valve seals mo. Pag ganon due ka na for top overhaul. sana yun lang ang sira. pacheck mo na kaagad sa suking mekaniko.

San po ba pwede maganda pa-check up to?.. Yung mekaniko ko kasi sa cavite pa. Since dito na ako nakatira sa Camp Aguinaldo, yung malapit na sana.. may marerecommend po ba kayo?.. how much po ba for top overhaul?..

average costs ng labor nyan is 5,000. Excluding the parts and items you will buy pa. For sure pre you have to have your car overhauled na. Yun Piston rings mo maluwag na sobra so oil is being burned below the cyl head. If you let this go on, your Valve tuppets will become dirty and have residue build up w/c will cause lost in compression or worst katok na makina. You can chk this pa by opening your OIL CAP, if smoke is coming out there, then for sure you have to open it... Good Luck!

well if i am you, i'll ask my friends around. Dapat yun mech malapit lang place sa iyo so he could do it sa house mo na lang and kakilala para la masyado problem. If papasok mo lang kse sa talyer for sure naka linya yan sa job orders den bka d ka pa makapili ng pyesa na ikakabit. Madami naman magaling na siraniko, i mean mekaniko around. Ok yun if recomended ng kakilala mo.

174,000 na km reading nito, i bought it from a friend last Aug, 166K pa siya noon. May pasok din ako from mon to sat, so wala talaga ako time for that. Anyway guys, thanks.. medyo hindi na mausok ngayon after change oil, but still, kinakabahan ako, hindi siya dati ganito eh.. konti na lang yung usok, im not sure if its normal, pero.. hindi siya ganon kausok before

sir, kung may kakilala kang operator ng mga taxis na malapit sa inyo...itanong mo lang kung may kilala silang mekanikong nagse-service sa kanila...makakamura ka dun.

kadalasan yung mga operator ng taxi & jeep may mga alagang mekaniko yan. ;)

any recommended shop na magaling mag top overhaul? oki ba sa shell?

kelan b dapat mag full overhaul? kung top overhaul, would it resolve the white smoke?

try and pass by the shop. we can do the overhauling for you. iba prices for top and bottom overhauls. do it soon tho kasi kapag pinabayaan mo you might have to re-bore the cylinders pa because of the wear.

it's always best to nip the problem in the butt before it gets big

Ummm... before you do anything else.. Just a question:

What color is the smoke?

Is it white smoke? -- coolant getting in the combustion chamber! Maybe a broken head gasket!

Is it gray smoke? -- Oil getting into the combution chamber! Worn piston rings, worn valve seals or valve guides!

Is it black smoke? -- unburned fuel... maybe clogged air filter, too rich fuel...not burning fuel completely!

I know everybody here predicted its oil, and they could be right but.... you need to know what color is your smoke before you make any moves!

it will be hard to give an estimate without opening the engine. pwede very rough lang like the piston rings and gaskets pero yung machining di ko mabibigay and other minor stuff kasi this usually surfaces when nakabukas na yung makina.

anyway, pass by the shop or give me a call nalang if you need more info

pag inestimate, bubuksan na b kagad makina? and if ever general overhaul and kulang pa yun funds ko, mababalik b kagad sa dati or iwan ko na yun car? sorry for the ignorance hehhe
