Magaling na Mekaniko for Top Overhaul

I took a picture of the exhaust pipe before I had the oil changed.

I took a picture of the dip stick just now but it's kinda blurred. Can you guys still distinguish if it's a good color? I wanna have an idea kasi of how bad the condition of the engine is kasi. My friend's car kasi has water na in the dipstick pero she still gets to use it. Mine doesn't have water naman. Pero mabaho yung exhaust.

I read in a thread somewhere na pangit yung nalagay na gas tapos nag white smoke. Nagpalit siya ng gas station tapos nawala smoke. Kaya ngayon ie-empty ko yung gas ko at bcheck ko baka mawala yung amoy hehe.

hmmm..looks like years of accumulated soot :D Oil will darken after a few hundred km. When it does, it means it is doing its job of taking the dirt out of the engine. And there are fresh oil that has a dark color to begin with.

Kapag ba kailangan na ng overhaul yung engine pangit na yung kulay ng langis? I just checked the oil a while ago and it's still on full. Saka hindi naman maitim. But it's still too early to tell kasi 100 kms pa lang tinakbo since I had the oil changed last Feb 10.

I did a stupid thing pala. When I first checked the oil, I started the engine, pinatay ko tapos saka ko chineck yung level. hehe. Lumabas low kaya dinagdagan ko ng 3 liters. Pag d Dapat daw pala pag umaga pag hindi pa nagagamit at naka settle pa yung oil.

Yaiks! Dapat maam ginawa nyo eh punta kahit sa malapit na gas station then pinabawasan nyo yung oil. over na sa oil yung engine nyo.

Yup. Yung recent change oil ko dinrain nila. Tawa nga ng tawa yung mga mekaniko. DI ko naman kasi alam na 1 liter lang pala from the Low marker to the full marker. hehe.

maam, baka makatulong...yung honda ko ganyan din, white smoke and nagbabawas ng langis. almost top-up ako ng 1 liter every month. nung una pinalitan yung spark plug oil seals sa head pero ganun pa din. then nabasa ko sa hcp na baka valve seal na sya. kay speedyfix ko pinagawa, palit valve seals then dinamay na din yung change oil para mag-seat in yung bagong oil sa seals. total gastos ko 9775.00. 5 days na ngayon yung auto since and so far no more smoke nor oils from the exhaust. siguro kung yung auto mo, malamang mas mura yung cost ng parts and labor. hth :D
