Sadly there are many cars now that don't have a spare, so it's either runflats or tire sealant.

Kung walang spare tire, invest on a Inflator kaysa sa sealant.
Inflate the flat tire +10 psi than normal, it should last till you find a vulcanisong shop.

Personally, I'd sooner keep a donut spare tire in the trunk than use a tire sealant.

Trust me. I speak from experience. The mess, the gunk that it makes.... if you clean it, para kang naglilinis ng snot. If you leave it for too long, it eats up the rim and corrodes it from the inside out.

Yup, experienced it myself as well.

Maybe we can summarize what's been said (oj88, Dr.Kamiya and glenn_duke): If there's space, spare tire. If none, donut. If none, run flat tires, tire inflator and tire sealant with tire sealant being the last resort; the tire inflator not being mutually exclusive.

Yeah I think the Project Farm video showed that you need a tire inflator either way regardless of having sealant or not. I guess try overinflating first to see if you can make it to a repair shop, then only use the sealant if the tire really isn't holding air.

In the absence of a spare tire I personally prefer the emergency "tusok" style repair kits. Used to keep a set of those around, but only ever got to use it once (which I guess is a good thing).

If you don't have a spare tire, a tire inflator using the socket of the car as power outlet is the best way to go.
