Generally speaking sa lahat ng liquid tire sealant.... Not advisable. Pwede as an emergency last resort. But be ready to clean it up afterwards (baklas gulong, tanggal goma, etc.) Messy sya at kung may internal TPMS ka, might as well say goodbye to it.

Mawawala din sa balance yung gulong at pwedeng mag-corrode yung rim in the long term.

Thanks. But is it effective as an emergency sealant for cars? Enough to bring you to a vulcanizing shop? Most reviews are for motorcycles kaya may duda ako if puede sa cars

Scotty Kilmer says it kept his tire inflated for 5 years

    Comparative review by Project Farm:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5DWhIF1c0M

Very solid test. He punctured all four tires on a Suburban and fixed each with a different product. Everything actually worked well except for the original Fix-A-Flat.
Followed up with corrosion testing, and a second test with a bigger puncture.

Also it seems like you'll need to have a tire inflator handy if you're going to use these products in the wild. By themselves you'll probably end up with an underinflated tire.

He's sort of an oddball... can't take him seriously sometimes. He offers more opinion than actual scientific fact, so I watch his videos with a grain of salt.

BTT: I recommend against using these types of tire sealants. Keep one in the car if you want for when you absolutely need it, but just use the spare if it can be helped.

Yeah, he rambles quite a bit.

    This guy is more systematic.

Edit: Spoke too soon. Dr. Kamiya already posted a video of this guy.

For the most part, he's ok. Except for the way he tests the film strengths of motor oils using the Reichert Wear Test or equivalent machine and then measure the wear scars on bearing surfaces. This has been debunked by another YT creator, The Motor Oil Geek. Suffice to say, that machine is primarily used to measure gear oil and grease. There is nothing inside an engine that is accurately represented by this test method.

    This is that video:

But Project Farm's other tests like on tools and such, they're great reference.
